2023 Florida ATSA CONFERENCE

I’m excited to share with Florida ATSA Members & Friends that our 2023 Annual Conference will be held at THE FLORIDA HOTEL in Orlando, FL March 10 & 11, 2023. Just like last year, we will be providing the traditional in-person conference and streaming live to those who cannot travel. However, who could resist gathering with colleagues in Orlando, FL, during the middle of winter? SAVE THE DATE on your calendar and watch for airline specials so you won’t be left out.

Due to continued Conference attendance growth, we decided to relocate the conference to the beautiful FLORIDA HOTEL, who already hosts many of the state conferences and can handle our growing attendance. The hotel is near the Orlando airport and just minutes from Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios, and Shopping till you drop. Just think, great workshops, networking with colleagues while meeting new colleagues, collecting continuing education credit, and lots of fun, all this with the warm Florida sun in March just can’t be beaten.

The conference committee is busy finalizing the speakers and conference sessions. We will also continue the Pre-Conference PARTNERS DAY. This will take place on March 9, 2023, for our state partners from the Department of Corrections, Department of Juvenile Justice, Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Department of Children and Families, Federal Probation, and other state organizations. As always, this ONE-DAY VIRTUAL PARTNERS Day is FREE and will only be delivered via VIRTUAL Conference online the day before the annual conference. By working together with our Partners and Providers, we hope to remove barriers to preventing and treating sexual abuse in Florida. More to come on PARTNERS DAY.

If you are an ATSA member but have not joined FLORIDA ATSA (FATSA), I hope you will consider joining us for just $25 per year. As a FATSA member, you will receive first notice of all conferences and any matters of importance within the organization while supporting the treatment and prevention of sexual abuse in Florida.
