Lighthouse Youth & Family Services has a full-time opening for a licensed Therapist, Counselor, or Social Worker (LPC, LSW, or MFT) at our Dayton, Ohio location; the schedule is 11:30am – 7:30pm, Monday and 10:30am - 6:30pm Tuesday - Friday. As part of a mission focused, innovative, clinical program, the therapist will work within an interdisciplinary team to provide treatment services to youth involved in the juvenile justice system. This will include mental health, substance abuse, and family-focused treatment as they relate to sexual and criminal offending behaviors. The Therapist will utilize trauma- informed care principles and therapeutic interventions. This position offers the opportunity to be a member of an innovative, optimistic and supportive clinical team.

You will focus on:

  • Providing individual, group and family counseling in the home, office, and/or community

  • Providing family advocacy and support as part of a therapeutic treatment team

  • Providing service coordination, conducting risk and diagnostic assessments and developing and implementing individual service plans

  • Completing and maintaining clinical files, including documentation of services

Required Education and Experience:

  • Professional licensure in State of Ohio as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Counselor, or Social Worker

  • One year of professional social service experience

  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn and apply trauma-informed care principles

  • Experience providing Medicaid services preferred
