This is a position for an experienced sex offender treatment professional with a minimum of 3years SOT experience post licensure.  This position is based in Neenah WI, which is located in the Fox Valley region of NE WI. 

Position Summary:  The SOT Program Director leads and maintains the overall organization of Reach Counseling’s SOT program.  This position oversees the ongoing growth and development of programming, strategies, treatment teams, volunteers and support groups within the program.  The SOT Program Director is part of the Reach Leadership Team and works collaboratively with the Executive Director and Program Leaders.


  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field
  • 3+ years as state licensed mental health professional
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Solid organizational, motivational and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
  • Capable of coordinating multiple community agencies and personnel at all levels
  • Prior experience working with sex offender populations in areas of treatment and assessment, including Static, Saprof and Stable
  • Two years experience with Motivational Interviewing and cognitive/behavioral treatment modalities
  • Strong understanding of group dynamics
  • Knowledge of criminal thinking and behavior
  • Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately
  • Knowledge of trauma informed treatment

Job Description:

  • Leads the Sex Offender Treatment Program team in meeting contractual obligations
  • Able to maintain caseload of Secured Release individuals
  • Maintains accurate and timely files and participates in monthly consultation meetings with Psychologist
  • Acts as ongoing resource to treatment team by communicating current research and knowledge
  • Participates as an integral part of Reach’s Leadership Team and attends scheduled meetings
  • Works with Executive Director to grow program and address challenges
  • Prepares proposals for SOT Program in accordance with state DCC Requests for Proposals
  • Acts as agency liaison with state DCC and DOC offices
  • Conducts annual evaluations of team members
  • Administers SOT program supply budget
  • Provides community education and trainings on sex offender dynamics and treatment.
