Professionals who treat and research sexual offenders have considerable insight to offer society. Their expertise enhances our understanding of the problem, as well as fostering the most effective treatment and management of offenders in the community. To ensure that this critical information reaches the public and those people who make key decisions, ATSA offers Policy Papers current to specific issues. These statements can be used to educate the public, as well as to offer consideration in the policy debates in administrative offices and in state and national legislatures.
