We currently have an immediate opening for a full time Licensed Professional Counselor/Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri:

This position is located at the Missouri Sex Offender Program in Farmington, Missouri:

The LPC/LCSW provides mental health assessment, treatment, and case management services in collaboration with a multidisciplinary mental health team in a correctional setting. Duties include initial mental health assessments, crisis intervention, regular follow-up for assigned inmates, conducting psycho-educational groups, and discharge planning to facilitate linking inmates with community resources when released from incarceration. Duties also include monitoring, assessing and providing mental health services for inmates housed in a segregation placement.

Requirements:

• Must have active Missouri license as an LPC or LCSW.
• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
• Minimum 2 years experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness, preferably in a correctional environment
