Director of Clinical Services / Licensed Psychologist
The Whitney Academy, Inc., a private residential treatment center and special education school for young men, ages 10-22, is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Clinical Services. This senior level administrative/clinical position requires a Doctoral Degree in Psychology and Massachusetts licensure. In addition, the successful candidate will possess significant experience as a Department Head in: supervising and leading clinical staff; design and implementation of behavioral interventions; provision of verbal therapies in a residential or inpatient setting. The Director of Clinical Services provides administrative and clinical supervision to (4) LMHC therapists and provides administrative oversight to the Social Services Department, (4) LICSW’s. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with the Director of Program Services, Director’s of Education & Residential Services to ensure compliance with regulations in policy development/implementation and on-going program refinement based upon the advances in the field. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work with nationally known experts in the field in a collaborative manner and to present at conferences, do research and publish.
