The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is seeking experienced clinicians to provide leadership and direction to our talented professional treatment staff.  Clinical Supervisors are needed to oversee these strong treatment teams, which are the cornerstone of MSOP.  The program provides extensive orientation and offers frequent training opportunities to encourage career and professional development; employees also participate in an ongoing mentorship program.  This is your opportunity to lead an enthusiastic, dedicated treatment team and work with a complex population!

MSOP is a world-class organization and a leader among sex offender programs in the country.  Overseeing the program are seasoned professionals dedicated to their workfor the comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of civilly committed sex offenders. By integrating clinical, vocational, recreation, education, and security functions into effective multidisciplinary teams, MSOP focuses their wide array of program activities throughout all phases of treatment toward the ultimate goal of reintegration.

Job Description:

Provide clinical and administrative supervision of treatment staff at the MSOP Moose Lake site. Manage and oversee sex offender specific treatment programs to maintain the integrity of clinical programming and ensure compliance with professional DHS standards.  Consult and collaborate with residential supervisors and professionals from various disciplines to meet the individual treatment needs of each client and foster continuous program development.  Maintain a safe, secure and humane environment for clients and staff, and ensure the safety of the public.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have a master’s degree and be licensed or license eligible in Minnesota as an independent clinical behavioral health professional (e.g., LP, LPCC, LICSW, LMFT). Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of clinical supervisory experience or professional level clinical experience with mental health, sexual offender, or forensic treatment and/or assessment.
