Job Description:

Provide comprehensive psychological services as a valued member of the treatment team, including psychological evaluations, crisis intervention, sex offender assessments, and individual and group psychotherapy. Provide specialized consultation regarding differential diagnosis, effective treatment strategies, risk management, and other related issues. Bring leadership and clinical direction to the overall program treatment model and treatment process. Deliver expert testimony at court and Special Review Board hearings.

Strong teams of talented professional treatment staff are the cornerstone of MSOP.  With a caseload of approximately fifty clients, each team of clinical staff includes six master’s level clinicians, one doctoral level psychologist, and one case manager.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a doctorate in clinical psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Minnesota.  We seek individuals with the ability to facilitate small and large groups, and provide effective crisis intervention therapy to groups and individual clients.  Ideal will candidates have the skills to administer, score and interpret psychological tests and to write clear, concise and informative psychological reports.
