The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is seeking talented psychologists, social workers, and therapists to join multidisciplinary treatment teams for the comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of civilly committed sexual offenders. MSOP is one program with facilities in two locations – Moose Lake and St. Peter, MN –Led by seasoned and respected professionals, our program design incorporates security with clinical, vocational, and educational services throughout all phases of treatment toward the ultimate goal of successful reintegration.

Job Description:
Each Clinical Program Therapist 3 is responsible for the coordination of treatment for their caseload. Functions of the Clinical Program Therapist include treatment planning, providing individual counseling and group therapy, preparing reports, and delivering psycho-educational curriculums. Our clinicians demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, respect, professional ethics, and embrace a spirit of collaboration.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a closely related field, in addition to one year of professional experience providing clinical services, including group and individual therapy. Candidates must be able to independently formulate and implement an individualized treatment plan; provide behavioral health treatment; and develop a continuing care plan. Interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to function and cooperate within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining positive working relationships.

St. Peter is a thriving town of 10,000 situated in the heart of the picturesque Minnesota River Valley. Ten miles away, Mankato is a city of 50,000 with a state university and a major retail and business center. This area provides the unique balance of big city conveniences while maintaining its appeal as a close-knit community. The Twin Cities metropolitan area of Minneapolis and St. Paul is a quick drive of just 50 miles.
