The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) provides services to individuals who are civilly committed as Sexual Psychopathic Personalities or Sexually Dangerous Persons. Patients committed to MSOP have the opportunity to participate in progressive sex offender specific treatment with the goal of decreasing risk and possibly reintegrating into the community. This is an opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic, dedicated treatment team and work with a challenging clinical population.

Located in the Minnesota River Valley, St. Peter is a thriving community of 10,000 and offers the best of small town living. Mankato, ten miles from St. Peter, is a city of 50,000 with a state university and a major retail and business center. The metropolitan area of Minneapolis and St. Paul is only 60 miles away.

Job Description: Under general direction, provides clinical case coordination and specialized assessment and counselling/therapy for groups of sexual offenders and families in the MSOP program. Also provides clinical direction to cross-disciplinary team members. This includes: providing clinical case coordination as well as clinical leadership and direction to cross-disciplinary team members; providing individual, group, and family therapy; curriculum design and staff training.

Qualifications: Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist approved by the Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy. A Masters degree in Psychology or closely related field in an accredited program.
