The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP)
Moose Lake, Minnesota Up to $78,571 annually The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) provides services to individuals who are civilly committed as Sexual Psychopathic Personalities or Sexually Dangerous Persons. Patients committed to MSOP have the opportunity to participate in progressive sex offender specific treatment with the goal of decreasing risk and possibly reintegrating into the community. This is an opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic, dedicated treatment team and work with a challenging clinical population. Job Description: Provide clinical and administrative supervision of treatment staff at the MSOP Moose Lake site. Report directly to the Associate Clinical Director at Moose Lake. Responsible for adherence to any licensing, certification or rules established specifically for this program within the context of protecting public safety and treating patients humanely and safely. Manage and oversee sex offender specific treatment programs to ensure they function in a compliance with professional DHS standards; maintain a safe, secure and humane environment for patients and staff; and ensure the safety of the public. Provide clinical supervision and direction to maintain integrity of clinical programming and will exercise supervisory authority so that applicable labor agreements and plans are equitably administered and employees under this jurisdiction will effectively perform assigned job duties to achieve the annual objective of the section. Represent MSOP in the area of behavioral health services, along with formulating, establishing and assuring implementation of policies, directives, instructions and internal operating practices so that all areas of responsibility effectively carry out the goals and objectives of the program/department. Qualifications: Qualified candidates must be licensed or license eligible as a Mental Health Practitioner and have a minimum of 2 years of clinical supervisory experience or 3 years clinical experience with mental health and/or sexual offender treatment or assessment.
