The NE Dept. of Correctional Services is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide assessment and treatment services. Duties include completion of psychological evaluation and risk assessments; rendering diagnostic impressions and provide treatment recommendations, co-facilitate treatment groups and treatment team meetings. Participate in the annual review of sex offenders; assist in developing policy and procedures; program evaluation, improvement and research. Maintain and complete required paperwork.

Lincoln Correctional Center is currently designated as a National Health Service Corps site eligible for student loan repayment for qualified mental health professionals.

REQUIRMENTS: Licensed or license-eligible psychologist in Nebraska. Sex offender assessment and treatment experience.

DESIRED: Experience working with a diverse population; management experience; ability to work as a team member; bilingual skills in English and Spanish desired and assessed.

Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the following pre-employment exams in this order: medical exam, and at randomly announced time, pass a drug test. Once at the Staff Training Academy, must successfully complete the fully paid NE Corrections Training Program.
