Saint Peter, Minnesota Minnesota State Operated Forensic Services is seeking a qualified applicant as the Clinical Director for Special Needs Services (a program for cognitively impaired sex offenders). This 25 bed inpatient residential program is located in St. Peter, Minnesota, within a secure psychiatric facility and is approximately 60 miles south of the Twin Cities. Job responsibilities include providing clinical direction and oversight to the staff, ensuring best treatment practices for patients, ensuring adequate training is offered to staff working with patients, overseeing and ensuring quality assurance measures and documentation are utilized, and providing clinical oversight to the admissions, discharges and transfers in and out of the program. Provides active consultation and direction to clinical staff and treatment teams regarding patients. Provides strategic planning of the program’s future with respect to the treatment services provided to patients. Completes various court ordered and other psychological reports. Provides consultation to other teams throughout our Forensic system. Expert testimony is occasionally required.
