Psychiatrist

Private residential treatment and education center for behavioral health and substance abuse in suburban Philadelphia seeks a Staff Psychiatrist. This individual will be responsible for providing direct psychiatric services to residents including individual and group sessions.

Duties include providing evaluation and treatment, reviewing past medical records, charting, preparing reports, consultation with staff and attending meetings concerned with direct resident care.

Candidate must have respect for and familiarity with Catholic culture and high degree of sensitivity and understanding in the treatment of clergy and religious.

Time commitment: approximately 16 - 24 hours a week.

Qualifications:
Current PA Medical license, Board Certified Psychiatrist, 2 years experience in practice of psychiatry, 1 year administering an inpatient unit or equivalent experience with patients with mental illness.
